My husband and I stayed with our dog Willow for a long weekend and loved it! We hiked at Hocking Hills a couple of the days and found it a very relaxing house to come back to. The cats were super cute and friendly and the house was very clean and quiet. Peaceful area and we enjoyed our stay.

The Hideout was a wonderful, scenic space. This location is just a short drive away from any trails you may be interested in at Hocking Hills and is just around the corner from Rock House. When we weren't adventuring around the area, we had a relaxing time grilling on the patio or in the hot tub, both of which overlook a ravine.

Such a perfect spot for a relaxing getaway! The location was perfect-close enough to town but far away enough to be completely peaceful. My boyfriend and I had such a wonderful time! The hot tub was lovely, the backyard space was perfect, and inside was absolutely gorgeous. Being dog friendly makes this place absolutely perfect! We will definitely stay again. -Meg and Nathan

We had a great time during our stay! The backyard was peaceful and we enjoyed the proximity to nature. Communication was great from start to finish and the cabin was very clean and cozy. We'd love to stay here again for our next trip to Hocking Hills!

Had a great time in Hocking Hills! Beautiful trails, waterfalls, and scenery everywhere. This cabin was super cozy and in a great location. Loved how peaceful and relaxing it was. Would definitely come back!

This is a perfect place to stay for a quiet and peaceful vacation! It’s very close to Hocking Hills for hiking and sightseeing. Greg was a wonderfully attentive host and made sure our stay was perfect!!

The home was beautiful. Everything was so clean. The kitchen was very big and nice. The home had everything we needed. The area was so relaxing and peaceful, and extra gorgeous during sunset! We loved it here!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!! Communication with the host before the stay and during the stay was quick and easy. We loved the seclusion and the fact that all 3 of our dogs were able to be with us. The pond was a hit and it was nice having the kayak, paddle board, row boat, and life jackets! We loved listening to the whipporwill every evening!!! There were a few minor things that could be improved, such as more hand towels and kitchen towels would have been great since we had a large group. The dryer also was not drying, but the lint trap outside was clogged and we cleaned it and it worked fine after that. But overall, the stay was wonderful and we'd definitely stay again!

I would 100% recommend staying here a million times. It was peaceful and relaxing, has a very homey feel and the dogs were very comfortable. Being off the grid for the weekend was just what we wanted for our son’s birthday. We have already been talking about staying again and making it our home away from home. Huge plus is being able to bring our fur babies. The owners Greg and Marianne were very attentive if we needed anything and welcoming up to the day we came and even when we were there. Small check ins to make sure we were doing good and everything is ok - made it known that they want to make sure you have the place you deserve.

It was really lovely. It was almost like being in a movie. We sat outside at night and it was so quiet, except for the occasional “make you jump” stuff falling out of the trees. I didn’t know what these sounds were or if they meant harm or if they were animal, vegetable or serial killer because I live in the city and well, the noises in the city are a little more obvious. I’m not sure which sounds scares me more anymore haha (sort of). In conclusion this a really nice place to come and hang out
