We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!! Communication with the host before the stay and during the stay was quick and easy. We loved the seclusion and the fact that all 3 of our dogs were able to be with us. The pond was a hit and it was nice having the kayak, paddle board, row boat, and life jackets! We loved listening to the whipporwill every evening!!! There were a few minor things that could be improved, such as more hand towels and kitchen towels would have been great since we had a large group. The dryer also was not drying, but the lint trap outside was clogged and we cleaned it and it worked fine after that. But overall, the stay was wonderful and we'd definitely stay again!

I would 100% recommend staying here a million times. It was peaceful and relaxing, has a very homey feel and the dogs were very comfortable. Being off the grid for the weekend was just what we wanted for our son’s birthday. We have already been talking about staying again and making it our home away from home. Huge plus is being able to bring our fur babies. The owners Greg and Marianne were very attentive if we needed anything and welcoming up to the day we came and even when we were there. Small check ins to make sure we were doing good and everything is ok - made it known that they want to make sure you have the place you deserve.

It was really lovely. It was almost like being in a movie. We sat outside at night and it was so quiet, except for the occasional “make you jump” stuff falling out of the trees. I didn’t know what these sounds were or if they meant harm or if they were animal, vegetable or serial killer because I live in the city and well, the noises in the city are a little more obvious. I’m not sure which sounds scares me more anymore haha (sort of). In conclusion this a really nice place to come and hang out

My wife and I stayed here for a weekend getaway for our anniversary. This place was perfect, spotless and comfy. Greg and his assistant were incredible. I 10/10 would recommend staying here. Can't wait to book this cabin again in the near future.

we absolutely loved the stay, our dog loved it as well, very beautiful place and easy check in and check out would definitely stay here again, food places are pretty close maybe 15 minutes at max to get to a good place, greg was very fast at responding and giving us information on nice hiking/walking trails definitely a 10/10 we loved it!

Place was super clean and ready to go. Only recommendation is get door code / check in before you leave town. Very poor phone service at cabin until you connect to WiFi. Over all an amazing time and we are already planning a return visit.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The cabin was very clean and well decorated. We were close to a small town that offers a grocery store as well as a few restaurants. The owner was very nice as was his assistant and they both checked in with us numerous times, before and after we arrived.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Hangout! The cabin is beautiful, spacious, and stocked with everything you could possibly need. The hot tub was the perfect way to relax after a long day of hiking, and the peaceful seclusion made evening fires even more magical. We can’t wait to come back!

My husband and I came down with our dog for 3 days to do some hiking at Hocking Hills. Greg’s place was perfect to come back and relax. It was quiet and very peaceful. The house was very clean and had everything we needed to cook meals. We enjoyed watching the chickens walk by, our dog had never seen chickens and it was funny watching him watch them. Will definitely recommend and come back if ever in the area again.

On this trip, the first Air bnb I rented was in W Virginia. It was NOT what it was described as. I had to leave with nowhere to go (home was 5.5 hours away). I contacted Greg, who responded immediately regarding his Air bnb rental, “The Hideout.” The Hideout was quaint, cute, just like it was described as, and felt like home. It was nestled in the trees with a hot tub in the middle of Hocking Hills. The home smelled clean and like it was just built. The bed was comfortable and the coffee station was on point. Many trails to walk within a 20 minute drive. Greg was very responsive with communications. What started out as a horrible weekend ended up being one of the best! Thank you Greg!
